The police officers recommended for awards are Kaski DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet, Kalimati Circle DSP Madhu Thapa, Maligaun DSP Sunil Shah, Police Academy DSP Chinimaya Tamang, Janasewa DSP Krishna Kumar Chand, and Thimi DSP Nawaraj Dhungana.
On the civilian side, Shivaram Banda of Hotel Swarnim and Guest House Koteshwor and Geeta Kumari Shah, a watch shop owner in Koteshwor, have been recommended for awards for helping the police who were chased during the vandalism and arson in the Koteshwor police division.
The report mentions that he also saved the police.
