Home Minister Aryal expressed this view during an on-site inspection and monitoring of the Sundarijal area of Constituency No. 3, Gokarneshwor Municipality, Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Home Minister Aryal, who is also the spokesperson for the Government of Nepal, also directed the election officers to be aware of the false, misleading and misinformation being spread on social media and to prepare for the election in their respective constituencies to conduct it in a peaceful and fear-free environment.
Home Minister Aryal was accompanied by Home Secretary Rajkumar Shrestha, Kathmandu Chief District Officer Ishwor Raj Poudel, Kathmandu Police Range Chief and Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Thapa, Home Ministry Co-Spokesperson Rama Acharya, Home Minister's Secretariat Member and Kathmandu District Election Officer Thakur Bhattarai, Election Officer Chamila Bhattarai and other teams who reached the area today for on-site inspection.
During that time, a team including Home Minister Aryal had conducted an on-site inspection of the polling station at Gokarneshwor Secondary School, Raokhreni Secondary School, and the polling station at Sundarijal. Similarly, his team also inspected the man-made dam located within the Shivapuri-Nagarjuna National Park.
Similarly, Home Minister Aryal had also inspected the office of the Election Officer in Gokarneshwor Municipality-4. During that time, Election Officer Bhattarai had informed that the monitoring and security situation of all polling stations in Constituency No. 3 had already been monitored, voter education work was underway, and preparations were being made to transport election materials to the polling stations.
Similarly, District Election Officer Bhattarai also informed Home Minister Aryal's team that the District Election Office had already completed the management of the necessary manpower for the constituency.
