Politician Khushbu Oli has said that it is not right to bring just anyone into the parliament in the name of representation through the proportional representation system.

"There is no policy or law to address the issues that have lagged behind 062/63. Some of those who were brought in through the proportional system are not able to make policy interventions. This is a shameful issue," she said at the 'People's Panel' session of the Kantipur Conclave. "Regardless of the system through which we are represented, we should have the capacity to make policy interventions."
