Journalist Santosh Deuja has raised the question of where the media has gone and what has happened to it.

Speaking at the second session of the second day of the Kantipur Conclave,  'People's Panel', he said that there has been a long-standing understanding in Nepal that those who speak are not journalists, and that the narrative of who is a journalist and who is not has also persisted for a long time.

He said that a country cannot be built without supporting good people, and that he supports those who do good work. His argument was that he supports people based on the person, not the party.
