AI expert Dobhan Rai has said that technology is not the only problem. Rai said that the social media we are using, Meta, TikTok or the algorithms provided by big tech companies, are very problematic. "That is very problematic. Technology should be used to provide access to those who do not have resources, and it is happening," she said, "Big companies have to maximize profits. We have seen that algorithms have a lot of engagement with anger or bad things. An algorithm itself is also making a formula that it will get a lot of engagement. It is being deliberately promoted.'
