Nisha Adhikari, leader of the Dynamic Democratic Party, has said that it is possible to reach voters without resorting to flashy and stunts. She said that she is practicing how to reach voters in the right way and that there is still a lot of work to be done on how to reach the public and what to say. She said, ‘I am running a different kind of campaign with a stance not to approach the public in a misleading and flashy manner.’

 

Adhikari said this in the first session of the second day of the Kantipur Conclave on the topic ‘Chautari of Dialogue, Confusion of Algorithms’. She said that a policy is also needed on what candidates can and cannot write on social media.

Journalism is not content creation: Prateek Pradhan

 

Editor-in-Chief of online portal Bahrakhari, Pratik Pradhan, has said that journalism is not content creation. He expressed concern that journalism has started running after followers, stating that journalism has started moving away from leading thought and the conscience of what to give and how much to society and has started moving towards clickbait.

Pradhan said this in the first session of the second day of the Kantipur Conclave on the topic of ‘The Circle of Dialogue, the Confusion of Algorithms’.
