Politician Ghanshyam Bhusal has said that the current demands of society are employment and good governance. He also said that the opposition within the citizens and the constitution can be resolved immediately.

"No matter how many far-fetched theories we talk about in a society like ours, the real personal life is just staying at home and eating and moving around," he said while speaking at the Kantipur Conclave's 'End of Ideology?: Retrofitting Nepali Politics' session. "The promise of giving a new life to today's Nepalis is old. The promises made by King Mahendra to Oli and Prachanda are the same. Those promises have not been fulfilled."

He said that if the constitution does not give rights, it is written in the constitution that one can go on a strike, protest, and organize. "It is not about how society is managed, it is about giving a new life. It is a crisis of the constitution and a contradiction between the citizens and the constitution," he said. "A society like ours is undoubtedly about employment and good governance. This is a time when everyone else has time to manage."
