Comedian Sundar Khanal has said that if someone threatens him on the basis of his comedy, he can be responded to accordingly.
Speaking at the fourth session of ‘Kantipur Conclave-2026’, ‘Satirizing Nepali Politics by Writing Satire on Yourself’, he said this.
‘We should prepare ourselves and do comedy.’ Sometimes, complaints are made about speaking in favor or against someone in politics,’ Khanal said, ‘Someone threatens to beat us up.’ There is no need to be afraid of a logical answer or joke. If they threaten or try to beat us up, then respond in the same way.’
