After the special general convention supporters proposed to dissolve the central committee through a closed session, the establishment has appealed not to take any action that would adversely affect unity .
'It is necessary for all members of the Nepali Congress, officials of the Central Working Committee, and all central members, members of the Mahasamiti, representatives of the General Convention, officials and members of the provincial, district, regional, municipal, ward levels, fraternal and well-wishing organizations and all supportive friends to take the difficult situation of the country seriously and end the uncomfortable situation that has arisen within the party,' the appeal states.
He appealed to all concerned not to take any action that would adversely affect party unity in such a situation and sincerely requested the party to move forward with complete unity .
The appeal came from the establishment after more than 56 percent of the representatives held a closed session at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu and sought to change both policy and leadership.
