Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba has said that the diplomatic initiative has been started to search and rescue the Nepali citizens who are said to have gone missing due to the floods in Uttarakhand, the neighboring country of India.
She informed that as soon as the news came that some Nepali nationals also went missing due to the flood, the diplomatic initiative to search and rescue them was started.
'It is very sad to hear the news that some Nepali citizens also went missing in the flood of a few days ago in India's neighboring country Uttarakhand . The government of Nepal has started a diplomatic initiative for their search and rescue. I have instructed the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi to coordinate with the Government of India for the search and rescue of the missing Nepali citizens,' she mentioned.
