As the flow of Bhotekoshi river has increased, the local administration has asked to be cautious.  The flow has suddenly increased in the Bhotekoshi river that reaches Rasuwagadhi through Tibet, China.

Rasuwa Assistant Chief District Officer Dhruv Prasad Adhikari said that the flow of water in the river has increased since around 2 am on Wednesday. "Because the flow in the river has increased, we have issued a notice to the local residents of the lower coastal areas to be alert," he said.

He informed that the flood in the river has washed away the road being built by the Chinese side to keep the belay bridge at the Rasuwagadhi crossing. Although it rained on Tuesday night, now there is no rain in Rasuwa, informed the Assistant Pragya Officer. The flood has also swept away the Dharmakanta in the customs yard in Timure.

District Administration Office Nuwakot has also requested to exercise vigilance in the coastal area mentioning that the water level has risen in the Trishuli River and sudden floods have been received from Rasuwa.

On Monday, District Administration Office Rasuwa issued a notice saying that there may be floods in Bhotekoshi, Trishuli, Langtang and Chilime Rivers flowing with Rasuwa and asked to be alert.

The water and meteorology department and also from the Chinese side mentioned that the flow of the river may increase due to heavy rain in the next few days and the administration asked to be careful. The flood in Bhotekoshi on June 24 caused a huge loss of life and wealth to Nepal and China.
