The Auditor General's office has suggested to conduct an internal audit as per the law. Section 77 of the Act stipulates that the local level should conduct an internal audit of financial transactions.
Similarly, the local level has not included the 361.11 million rupees disbursed by the federal and state governments in their income and expenditure statement. The local level has been instructed to prepare consolidated financial statements.
The General Account has pointed out that 116 local levels have diverted and spent 4 billion 1074 million rupees against the law. In the law, the amount can be transferred only so that it does not exceed 25 percent of the capital title.
