Commissioner of National Human Rights Commission, Dr. Women are witnesses of the transformation of every time. Leeli Thapa said. She said that as history goes on, from the Lichhavi period to the time of the Republic, women have been witness to the transformation of society every time.
Speaking as the keynote speaker in the 'Nirbhik Nari' program organized by Nari Magazine, a co-publication of Kantipur Publications, Thapa said that the transformations and contributions made by women have not been included in history.
She paid tribute to Yogamaya, Bhrikuti, who contributed strongly to the transformation of the society, and said, 'From the time of Lichchawi to the time of the republic, women are the conductors of transformation, women's history should not be left behind to be covered and exposed in history from the university.'
