India-Pakistan conflict: National Security Council meeting at Singha Durbar

As the India-Pakistan conflict escalates, the National Security Council is meeting. According to the secretariat of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the council meeting started a while ago at Singha Darbar.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chairman of the council, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar, Defense Minister Manveer Rai, Chief Secretary Eknarayan Aryal, Chief of Army Staff Ashokraj Sigdel and member secretary of the council Rameshwar Dangal and others participated in the meeting.

The tension between the two neighboring countries of Nepal has flared up after India's attack targeting 9 terrorist areas in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir. After the Pahalgam attack in Kashmir on April 22, the conflict between the two countries has intensified. In that attack, 26 people died including a Nepali citizen.

Similarly, India said that 10 Indian citizens were killed and 32 others were injured in the attack from across the border. Armed Police Force Nepal (APF) has adopted high vigilance in the border area after the tension between India and Pakistan escalated since Tuesday night.
