The problem of appointing the governor is not because of the prime minister: Deuba

Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has clarified that the problem in the appointment of the Governor of Rashtra Bank is not due to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Speaking at a dialogue program on 'Policies that should be covered by the budget in the current economic environment' held at the party central office in Sanepa on Tuesday, Deuba said that the appointment was delayed due to problems within the Rashtra Bank. He claimed that Prime Minister Oli was in favor of giving the governorship to the Congress and did not interfere in that matter.

'There is no problem even in the power coalition,' he said, 'It is difficult for any party to get a majority. Even though our party is the largest, it does not have a majority, so a coalition is necessary. Now there is an alliance with UML leader KP Oli and there is no problem with the alliance. The problem regarding the appointment of the governor is not created by the Prime Minister, it is a problem within the Rashtra Bank.'

He said that Oli is positive to give Congress a governorship and is playing a supportive role in it.

Deuba has claimed that the current government has created a law through an ordinance including the private sector in development.
