The policy and program of the government for the next financial year is being presented in the Federal Parliament today. President Ramchandra Paudel will present the government's policies and programs at the joint meeting of both houses of the federal parliament.
A joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament has been called for 3:00 pm today.
According to Padya Prasad Pandey, Secretary General of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the possible agenda of the joint meeting has been decided. According to Article 95 of the Constitution of Nepal, the President addresses the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire has already asked the members of the House of Representatives to fast and attend in the prescribed dress within 2 hours and 45 minutes of the day.
It has already been discussed between the ruling political parties to bring policies and programs for the next financial year to make the economy more viable.
It is believed that the government's policies and programs will focus on the issues of instilling hope in the youth, entrepreneurship, skill development, startups, business planning, increasing government spending and maintaining good governance.
The Federal Parliament Secretariat has already decided the agenda to discuss and approve the government's policies and programs from 22nd to 28th of Baisakh.
Similarly, on May 30th, the discussion on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill will begin. It has been taken as a pre-budget discussion. According to the constitution of Nepal, the finance minister will present the government's budget for the next financial year on the 15th of June in the joint meeting of the federal parliament.
