In the case of the death of another Nepali student in Kaling Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, India, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that it has started a diplomatic initiative to investigate the true facts of the incident through the Government of India, high officials of the Government of Odisha and the Nepali Embassy in Delhi.

Foreign Minister Arju Deuba Rana informed about this on Friday morning. She also said that the fact that the Nepali student Prisa Sah was found dead and she was found dead in her own hostel room made her very sad.

Minister Rana has written on social network X, 'I express my deepest condolences on her death at this sad time, wishing for the eternal peace of Prisa's soul.'

The girl from Birgunj was found dead in her room on the fourth floor of the KIIT hostel 'Queens Castle-4' (QC-4) on Thursday evening. According to the information provided by the university to the Nepali Embassy, ​​the police have taken control of the incident site.

Prakriti Lamsal of Ruppandehi was also found dead in the same dormitory of KIIT last February 4.
