The government is going to start a program where students who have passed class 12 can study general nursing for two years.

President Ramchandra Paudel, presenting the government's policy and program for the financial year 2082/83 in the Federal Parliament today, said that such an arrangement would be made.

He said that the general nursing program will be conducted to ensure the supply of manpower in the health sector. Now there is a provision to study PCL nursing after passing SEE. Undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNS) three and four year BAC nursing programs are in operation .
