Time to import electricity from India has been reduced by one hour. According to the Nepal Electricity Authority, while the import was done for 16 hours earlier, it will be imported only for 15 hours from Friday. According to the authority, electricity can be imported from Friday from 6 am to 5 pm (solar hour) and from 2 pm to 6 am. India has given permission to import 600 MW electricity from 400 KV Dhalkebar-Muzaffarpur line for 15 hours a day.

Amid rising tensions with Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack
India on Wednesday retaliated by closing its airspace to Pakistani aircraft . According to news agency PTI, the bandh will be effective from May 1 to May 23. In this regard, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has issued a notum (notice to airmen) on Wednesday evening. Aircraft registered in Pakistan, operated, owned or leased by Pakistani airlines and operators will not be allowed to enter Indian airspace.
