The Government's policy and program for the financial year 2082/83 is being presented at the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Friday. President Ramchandra Paudel will present the policy and program at the joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, which will be held at 3 pm at the Federal Parliament Building in Naya Baneshwar.

The Federal Parliament Secretariat has said that the necessary preparations for the presentation of policies and programs have reached the final stage.

Secretariat spokesperson Ekram Giri has informed that all MPs as well as the Vice President, Chief Justice, Constitutional Commission officials, high-ranking government officials, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions here, heads and representatives of the private sector have been invited for the joint meeting.


Similarly, cleaning and necessary preparation of the meeting room, decoration of the premises area, arrangement of entry passes etc. are being done, he said. The 'rehearsal' work will be done on Friday morning with necessary security arrangements for the President's vehicle.


Spokesperson Giri has informed that after the joint meeting, both the Houses will hold separate meetings to express their thanks for the President's speech and to table the speech. In the meeting, there is a possible agenda to read the letter received from the President's Office appointing Kham Bahadur Garbuza as the Minister of State for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.
