The Council of Ministers has authorized Energy Minister Deepak Khadka to ask for a three-day explanation why Nepal Electricity Authority Executive Director Kulman Ghising should not be removed. A minister informed that the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday gave the authority to ask for an explanation within three days for the removal of Kulman.

The Minister said that the Council of Ministers has given the right to ask for clarification on the proposal of Energy Minister Deepak Khadka. 'Decided to go to India and increase the price of electricity. Minister and Secretary were not asked. Not helping the government. The minister kept the regulations of the authority himself. Minister Khadka has been given the right to ask for an explanation after holding a long role,' said the minister, 'You have been given the right to ask for an explanation as to why you should not be removed from the post.'
