A candidate of the Maoist Center has been elected as the chairman of Dhanushadham municipality ward number 1 of Dhanusha district.

According to the election results released by the Election Commission, Shunil Kapar Kewat, the candidate of the Maoist Center, was elected as the ward chairman of Dhanushadham 1.

According to the Election Commission, Kewat, who was elected as the ward chairman, received 684 votes. His closest rival, Ashok Kumar Mandal of the Congress, got 622 votes.

Ajay Kumar Yadav, the candidate of Jaspa, Nepal, who is at the third number, has received 499 votes, while Pramod Yadav of UML has received 365 votes. 

Similarly, while RPP candidate Ramdevsingh Danuwar got 2 votes, Janamt candidate Kasheshwar Mandal also got 2 votes . In this ward, the Election Commission has informed that Ram Naresh Das, the candidate of RSVP, got 1 vote.
