District Administration Office Kaski has issued a prohibition order in some areas of Pokhara. Chief District Officer Bharatmani Pandey has issued a prohibitory order stating that there may be demonstrations, processions, riots and clashes.

Prohibition orders have been issued in various areas of Pokhara Metropolitan City from 12:30 AM until further notice.

It is prohibited to gather more than 5 people in the area where the prohibition order has been issued . Similarly, it is prohibited to hold protest programs such as fasting, dharna, cordon, procession, demonstration and assembly. It is mentioned in the order that anyone who violates this order during that period will be prosecuted according to the prevailing law. Prohibitory orders have been issued in Sahid Chowk and Gaihrapatan areas.

At this time, the leaders and workers of the National Independent Party (RASWPA) have been demonstrating in Pokhara since Saturday after Ravi Lamichhane was arrested in the case of co-operative fraud. Lamichhane has been taken to the district court for extension. Likewise, the cooperative victims of Pokhara have also organized a demonstration near Rashtrabank Chowk. In this case, the local administration has issued a prohibitory order saying that there may be a clash between the two parties.
