The Kaski District Court has extended the deadline of 20 days against the former director of Gorkha Media Network Chabilal Joshi, who is also the former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Nepal Police in the case of misappropriation of cooperative savings funds.
Joshi, who was arrested on October 6, is being investigated by the Kaski police. Kaski District Court information officer Suraj Adhikari informed that the court extended the deadline by 20 days to be effective from October 17.
The court was closed after October 17 due to Dasain holidays. Joshi is in the custody of the police. Joshi was arrested by the police from Kathmandu on October 6 to investigate the savings fraud of Pokhara's Suryadarshan Sahakari.
