From Bhakundebensi in Kavre to Timal Khaireni via Madhyapahari Lokmarg, from Sitkha bridge in Ramechhap, a short distance alternative road crossing Sunkosi river and exiting BP highway has been operational from today.

Purna Bahadur Tamang, Minister of State for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has informed that it is about 35 kilometers from Bhakundebensi to reach Sitkha via Timal Khaireni via Madhyapahari Highway.

Bhakundebensi 25 km from Dhulikhel and Bhakundebensi-Sitkha 35 km, 60 km one-way road connects to BP highway of Sunkosi rural municipality-3 . The concrete bridge of the Sunkosi river on the border of Ramechhap and Sindhuli is in operation .

Minister of State Tamang BP is traveling to Kathmandu using the same route through the highway. Motorcycles and small vehicles  State Minister Tamang says that the road has been opened and passenger buses will start operating from tomorrow.

It is 20 km to reach Sitkha from Khurkot through BP highway under Khurkot-Nepalthok section. It is 59 km from Bhakundebensi to reach Khurkot via BP highway and via Timal  It is only 55 km to reach Khurkot. On the other hand, temporary road construction is going on in Nepalthok-Dhulikhel section under BP highway.

The 8 km road to Mangaltar in Kavre will be operational by noon today, according to the locals. Bhakundebensi-Sitkha road may be suitable for small vehicles as the road from Dolakha connecting to BP Marg via Ramechhap has been blocked due to landslides.
