There have been floods in 60 places and heavy rain in 88 places across the country today. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, there have been floods in 89 places and heavy rains in the region since last Saturday.
According to the disaster portal, heavy rains are occurring at various places including Dolakha Gourishankar-9, Panchthar Fidim-1, Tehrathum Myanglung-2, Morang Kerabari-3, Bara Kalaiya-1. 60 places including Morang Sunderhaicha-3, Sankhuwasabha Bhotkhola-2, Saptari Surung-4 have shown signs of flooding.
In 79 places, the river has crossed the alert level . Wagmati River has crossed the alert level at 16 places. Kosi, Tinau, Narayani and Wagmati rivers have crossed the danger level.
