According to the report of the Parliamentary Special Committee, a loan was raised in the name of Lamichhane from Supreme Cooperative and 2 crores were taken out on 18 Chait 2077, 4 lakhs service fee was deducted and 1 crores 96 lakhs were deposited in the account of Gorkha Media. Roshni Gurung, an employee of the cooperative, deposited the amount in the name of Lamichhane. The details mentioned in schedule 13 of the report as the amount received from various cooperatives in Gorkha Media's Global IME Bank account also confirm it. 

On the other hand, Lamichhane seems to have taken 2 crores of rupees from Gorkha media as loan and salary, Lamichhane has not distributed this amount, apart from the salary, as loan and salary. Lamichhane, the former managing director of the company, gave a statement to the parliamentary inquiry special committee that the chairman Gitendrababu (GB) Rai was responsible for the company's financial affairs. However, according to the details mentioned in the committee's report, a check of 237.989731 rupees has been cut from Gorkha media to various companies and individuals under Lamichhane's signature. Lamichhane was found to have cut a single check up to Rs 3 crore. According to the

report, Lamichhane's signature is on the check of Rs 58 lakh 37 thousand 500 given to Nobody Production Pvt. Nobody Productions Pvt Ltd is a company started in the name of Suraksha Adhikari, wife of the then creative director of Gorkha Media, Vipin Acharya. Acharya is currently the joint general minister of the RSVP. A check of 16 crore 35 lakh 92 thousand 231 rupees has also been cut on various dates from Gorkha Media in the name of Communication and Broadcast Pvt. Ltd. with Lamichhane's signature.
