Newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Health and Population Minister Upendra Yadav has said that ranking does not matter to serve the people. After taking the oath of office of Deputy Prime Minister and Health and Population Minister from President Ramchandra Paudel on Sunday, 'Why did you want to be ranked after Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane, who has held the position of Deputy Prime Minister many times?' In response to the question of media persons, Yadav said that there is no meaning of ranking for those who serve the people.

His answer is that people who work at the grassroots do not care about such things. It is to deliver quality health services to the people easily. I am a grassroots person who does not care about such things, he is serving the people, he said.

Yadav has decided to end the situation of having to stand in long queues for healthcare and make healthcare easy and through digital technology, one can take doctor's appointment from home.  He said that his first responsibility is to improve the health sector and provide health services to the people.
