UML President KP Sharma Oli and United Samajwadi Party President Madhav Kumar Nepal have held a 'relationship improvement' meeting after about one and a half years. A meeting between the two leaders took place on Saturday after participating in the new equation.

Jhalnath Khanal, a senior leader of United Samajwadi Party, said that after participating in the same alliance, there were talks to improve relations. "The past has been reviewed," he said. Dahal and Nepal came against Oli without the division of the then CPN. After trying to make Oli a minority in the parliamentary party, he dissolved the parliament twice. Oli and Nepal took different paths after the Supreme Court annulled the decision to dissolve the parliament twice.

After the party split in August 2078, the talks between the two leaders stopped. The relationship between the two parties and leaders became more strained after the UML concluded that there was a huge loss in the last election due to the division of the party. On this February 21, after a new equation of parties including UML and Maoist was formed, the United Socialist Party of Nepal was also included in the alliance. Oli and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal went to Nepal Niwas Koteshwar to make the United Socialists participate in the alliance.

Similarly, Prime Minister Dahal and UML President Oli reviewed the new equation on Saturday itself. After the formation of the new alliance, in the one-on-one meeting between the two leaders, issues such as government formation and the government's vote of confidence were discussed. "During the meeting, the situation after the formation of a new alliance between the two leaders was reviewed," the source said. "There is an agreement between the two leaders to move forward on the basis of cooperation and coexistence," the source said, "Accordingly, UML made it easier for the Prime Minister in the division of ministries."

After the formation of a new coalition, after the efforts of two leaders failed to reach the majority, Madhav Kumar participated in the Unified Samajwadi Party government led by Nepal. After the Janata Samajwadi Party participates in the government on Sunday, the cabinet will be complete. The discussion between Oli and Dahal took place when the government was preparing to take a vote of confidence on February 30.

After the vote of confidence, the government is preparing to make a common program of the alliance and bring a budget based on that. On February 21, an alliance was announced between UML, Maoists, Rashtriya Swatantra Party and Janata Samajwadi with 8 points written agreement. It has been agreed that the Maoists will take the National Assembly Speaker and the UML will take the Vice President.
