The UML, which is being accused of devaluing the Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government and sending a 'B team', has set four bases on Friday to sustain the newly developed power coalition for four years. In which the UML has concluded that it will fully support the Dahal government, do homework to bring the outside parties into the alliance, UML ministers will give good results, and strengthen the provincial government.

In the central secretariat meeting, Chairman KP Sharma Oli instructed the officials to prepare a basis for the new alliance to last till 2084 to give political stability. In the central secretariat meeting held for the first time after joining the Dahal government, Oli mentioned that the efforts to break the alliance with the Congress have been successful for some time and mentioned that he participated in the government to sustain the new alliance for the next four years. We have participated in the government with the preparation to sustain the coalition government for four years. We have also shown generosity in the matter of the ministry," an official said, quoting Oli's statement, "The distance between the Prime Minister and the Congress has increased. Then we managed to form a new alliance. Now we have to proceed in a way that gives stability to the country.' Even though the leaders of UML and Maoist have said that they have agreed to lead the government for the remaining four years since the new equation was formed between the two parties, Oli and Dahal have not spoken publicly about that agreement.

The secretariat meeting concluded that due to the increasing frustration in the society due to the unstable political situation, the government should accelerate the work of the government in improving the economic status of the country, social justice, good governance etc. The development of the country can be accelerated by sustaining this coalition government for four years. And only disappointment can be overcome," said Vice President Yuvraj Gyawali. The

meeting also asked political parties outside the coalition to participate in the Maoist Chairman Dahal-led government. The secretariat meeting held at the party headquarters Chasal on Friday morning concluded that the new power equation has provided compatibility to solve the existing crisis in the country and requested other political parties to support it. Talking to the media persons after the meeting, the party's general secretary Shankar Pokharel informed that it has been decided to request the support and support of other political parties in the government consisting of 5 political parties. 

'There has been a discussion about the new power equation. We have come to the conclusion that UML should make a positive contribution to support the political stability and development of the country. He said that the government should raise the national interest and self-respect of the country by the meeting. "We believe that the new power equation will be fruitful in the country's independence, self-respect, nationalism, development and prosperity, and social justice," he informed.

Homework for the provincial government too

UML has decided to do homework on the formation of the provincial government. Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali mentioned that with the formation of the new equation, the preparations for taking the initiative in the formation of the provincial government have started. "Homework is being done in the state government about where and how it can be done," he said, "Since it could not work as expected, preparations have been made for reorganization." 

The coalition has tried to give majority to the same government in Madhesh led by Wagmati, Karnali and Janata Samajwadi Party with Maoist chief minister. Even though there is no referendum in Madhesh province, there is a situation where the majority will be in favor of the current coalition. The 150-seat coalition has a majority including UML (23), Jaspa (18), Maoist (9), United Samajwadi (7). Efforts are being made to bring the 13-seat public opinion into the government. Congress (22), LOSPA (9), Unmukti, RPP and Swatantra have one seat each. Public opinion made the Chief Minister post the bottom line to go to the federal government. As the power coalition has reached the majority, the party is in a 'wait and see' situation about going to the Madhesh government.

General Secretary Pokharel informed that it has been decided to hold the Congress Representative Council meeting on April 8th and 9th. The meeting will discuss the new power equation, upcoming programs. Similarly, UML has also decided to organize a special function to celebrate CPN Foundation Day on May 10. Before that, in the annual calendar of UML, the establishment day of CPN was decided to be celebrated between special ceremonies. General Secretary Pokharel said that a detailed discussion was also held regarding its completion.
