At a time when the country is going through despair due to economic recession, the newly appointed 19 ministers of the reorganized Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led cabinet have repeated stale decisions and directives that hold little hope and cannot be fulfilled much.

Home Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Ravi Lamichhane took the first decision to punish the government land grabbers and bring the land back to the name of the government. Accordingly, he also gave instructions to bring back government lands across the country. "I want to give an order to bring the seized government land under the government," said Lamichhane, "government property has been seized in 77 districts." My first decision is to bring it back.'

When he took over as the Home Minister a year ago, he made the first decision to investigate the incident of Kanchanpur girl Nirmala Pant and arrest the culprits. Deputy Prime Minister and Physical Infrastructure Minister Raghuvir Mahaseth has made the first decision to form a 5-member task force to study the delays in infrastructure construction. He said that he will form a five-member task force under the leadership of the joint secretary of the ministry and plan what should be done to remove the delay in the work and added, "Whether it is the delay in the construction of roads, bridges or ring roads, I have decided to form a task force to report on all of them within 15 days." The task force will respond with all the reasons.

Finance Minister Varshman Pun has made the first decision to mobilize the government and private sector by mixing grants and concessional loans from climate funds. He has decided 9 points related to climate finance and Nepal. He also said that he will guide the related and thematic ministries and donor agencies to make the project operated through Green Climate Fund (GCF) have sustainable infrastructure.

Sumana Shrestha, who has held the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology from the National Independent Party, has decided to amend the law by removing the provision that the Prime Minister and the Vice-Chancellor shall be the Vice-Chancellors of all universities in the country and keep experts. Minister Shrestha instructed the staff to draft a law to provide easy and quality education in the country and prohibit politicization in universities.

Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Hit Bahadur Tamang has said that he will not 'do stunts' during his tenure, but will give priority to policy reforms. Speaking to the media after assuming office, Minister Tamang said, "I am not in favor of stunts, but I will devote myself to search, research and policy reform throughout my tenure." Tamang, who previously held the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the first time in 2068, has a big challenge to raise the Nepal Airlines Corporation, which is drowning in a debt of 48 billion. Similarly, he has to start the work including the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and board members of the Tourism Board to promote Nepal in the international market in the next few weeks.

Industry, Commerce and Supply Minister Damodar Bhandari has made the first decision to change the structure of the ministry. In that order, he instructed that the employees must fulfill the assigned responsibilities. Bhandari participated in the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal for two months last year. 

Newly appointed Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri has said that the necessary laws will be made for the implementation of the Constitution and federalism of Nepal. Giri said that he would pay attention to the creation of laws to help in the development of the country. He expressed his commitment to move forward with the necessary action plan to effectively conduct the legal awareness program for increasing access to justice and organize the overall operations of the ministry.

Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Jwalakumari Sah has expressed her commitment to pay the arrears of milk due to livestock farmers.

The newly appointed Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Dol Prasad Aryal, expressed his commitment to solve the problems of Nepali workers around the world as soon as possible through the one-door system. Upon his reinstatement, Minister Aryal said, "I will first try to solve the problems of Nepali workers around the world through a one-door system."
