Congress Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka has commented that the delirium of populism, authoritarianism and revival has increased in the country. Proposing the Congress policy at the Congress General Committee meeting on Tuesday, he alleged that they were trying to make a business out of desperation.

"The tendency of fishing in murky waters is trying to prevail based on some frustrations at the grassroots level." In order to provide the right direction to the country by putting aside the problems and difficulties and moving forward on the path of social transformation, economic and physical development is being done. Basically, the delirium of populism, authoritarianism and revival has increased' is in the document submitted by him .

The analysis of populism, authoritarianism and revivalism in Khadka's document is as follows:

Populism: It is populism to shirk responsibility and say anything for popularity without a clear vision. Those who make the same populism do not have any attachment to the current governance system and system. Neither has a glorious history, nor a confident future . There is neither a commitment to democracy, nor a clear road map for the future. They are trying to cultivate political hatred and frustration in the society in the name of cheap popularity. 

Authoritarianism : Selling despair and trying to impose a monopoly by reversing change in the wind of fantasy dreams is authoritarianism . Authoritarians, although different in appearance, are in essence anti-democratic. They also have no ownership in their achievements, nor sense of responsibility for the greater good of the nation, nor responsibility . The politics of hatred against the democratic governance system, which has recently been holding the rhythm of stability, and under the cover of that hatred, some elements are trying unsuccessfully to impose dictatorship again .

Kuchesta for revival:  There is a complaint, dissatisfaction and frustration of common citizens towards the way and style of working of political parties and government . Connecting such problems with the system, there are also people raising their voices against change. This attempt at political revival is irresponsible and irrelevant. Interpreting history only gives confusion, not truth. The street work that looks like an attempt at revival is not an effort at all, it is just a pointless effort.

Deputy Chairman Khadka has said that democracy will be institutionalized only if these kinds of problems and challenges can be solved intelligently in the long term. Nepali Congress is aware and knowledgeable about this issue. Not only that, it has a golden past of handling this kind of extreme situation. At present, only the Nepali Congress has that determination and ability' Khadka said.
