'Naima Expo-2025' is starting from Wednesday at Bhrikutimandap. 50 brands of vehicles will be displayed at the expo organized by Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA). 35 new variants of vehicles are being launched at the expo which will last till 25th July.

 

Expo committee member Gaurav Sarada said that all the preparations for the expo have been completed and the vehicles have been kept in the stalls. Organizers claim that more than 80,000 people will visit the expo, which will last for five days. "Four-wheeled, two-wheeled and commercial vehicles are kept in the expo," Sarada said, "so this is the first time that such an expo has been organized with only cars and bikes." 

As Dasain is approaching, he said that they are going to organize an expo with discount offers. All brands will announce discount offers on their vehicles from the expo itself. 15 two-wheelers, 15 four-wheelers and 5 commercial vehicles will be launched at the expo. Expo's ride partner Pathao has said that it will give a 30 percent discount for passengers bound for Bhrikutimandap.  On the fifth day of the

exhibition, a panel discussion will be organized in the presence of various national and international experts. During the panel discussion, banker Anilkeshari Shah will conduct a session on 'Mobility yesterday, today and tomorrow'.  

Moreover, a special online competition has been held targeting the exhibition. In the competition, one best competitor who makes a video related to Naima Auto Expo and uploads it on social media by 21st June will be awarded Rs 1 lakh. Likewise, the 10 best videos uploaded from 21st to 25th will be given cash prizes at the rate of 10,000 each. Tickets for the exhibition will be available at Khalti by IME. 5 percent of the ticket amount will be spent for scholarships and fellowships on mobility issues in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and Vocational Training Council.  Ritu Singh Vaidya, president of Naima, said that efforts were made to make the

expo not only a means of selling vehicles for importers, but also a place to influence society and consumers and raise awareness. "For that, a 'learning session' will be organized every day," she said. According to Naima, 35 new vehicles including BYD, MG, Omoda, Forthing will be released at the

expo. SPG Automobiles is all set to launch an all-electric premium SUV 'JEICO J-5'. The company claims that the JEco J-5 SUV is a combination of rugged texture and design that looks all-road-ready with comfortable features made for adventure travel. 

It has high-quality features like Level 2 EDAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), best-in-class integrated panoramic sunroof, 540-degree surround view camera and independent suspension. The company claims that it is very suitable for both urban travel and light off-road travel.

J-5 features ventilated seats with connected car technology, fully digital smart instrument cluster, spacious and comfortable second-row seats with 1320 mm width, 256-color ambient lighting and 480 liters of trunk space and 36 intelligent storage compartments.

Paramount Motors, MG's official dealer, has announced that it will launch the IM-6 at the Expo. Although this vehicle has already been announced, the sale will start from Wednesday. The price of IM-6 is fixed at Rs 74 lakh 99. Cymex Inc., the official dealer of BYD, said that it will exhibit Seagull (Atto 1) and Silayon-7 Naima at the expo. According to the company, the price of Sigal (Etto 1) will be less than 35 lakh rupees. The price of Silayan-7 has been fixed at 72 lakh 99 thousand rupees.

 Similarly, Lakshmi E-Mobility has announced that it will bring China's electric vehicle brand 'Forthing' to the Nepali market. The 'Forthing' brand, known for its smart design and cutting-edge electric mobility technology, has announced that it is going to start its business with premium electric SUVs in Nepal. The company claims that this SUV with 64.4 kWh battery and 99 kW motor power can cover a distance of more than 400 km.

Weber Group's Blue Corporation will launch two new electric microvans from the Chinese commercial vehicle brand Sunlong. Blue Corporation is going to introduce 12-seat U-One and 13-seat U-Two models to the Nepali market. Blue Corporation has set the price of the 12-seater U One at Rs 47 lakh 47 thousand and the price of the 13-seater U Two at Rs 51 lakh 51 thousand.

According to Blue Corporation, the U One has a 46.36 kWh lithium battery pack and the U Two has a 50.23 kWh lithium battery pack. With an 80 kW motor, the U One's claimed driving range is 325 km and the U Two's 350 km. 

Both vans include features such as 15-inch wheels, 180 mm ground clearance, LCD dashboard, USB charging interface, air conditioning, pedestrian warning system, reverse parking sensor, reverse camera and front power window. For safety, the van has technologies like ABS, EBD, EPS, ESC, brake assist system, front disc and rear drum brake, seatbelt warning.  As a

charging facility, the company will also provide a 3.3 KW portable charger and a 6.6 KW wall-mounted charger. Nexon Ventures, the official distributor of LS Auto, is going to launch two new models at the expo, namely 'LEV 05' and 'LEV X'. The LEV 05 is an electric car in the premium hatchback segment.

Its length is 4200 mm, width is 1770 mm and height is 1610 mm. This car has a long wheelbase of 2650 mm. The LEV 05 has 175mm ground clearance with 17-inch alloy wheels. The LEV 05 will be powered by a 50 kW front wheel drive motor. It has a maximum torque of 180 Newton meters.

This car has the segment first largest size battery pack. The LEV 05 has a 56 kWh LFP battery pack. Which gives a range of more than 400 km on a single charge. The car can be charged with a 60kW DC fast charger and a 7kW AC charger. The LEV X will have a 200 kW motor at the front and rear. It will have a large size battery pack of 77 kWh. LEV X's dashboard has a new design AC vent.

Segway-Ninebot's authorized distributor in Nepal, ihub is going to release four new models of Segway. It will launch two electric scooters E-150 Mk2 and E-125 Mk2 and an electric motorcycle (Zyber) and an electric bicycle (Jafari) at the Naima Expo. The company claims that these models are designed to suit various needs from daily use in urban areas to lifestyle and eco-friendly travel.

The Segway E-150 MK2 has a 7500 watt motor and two 1944 watt-hour batteries and can travel from 75 to 120 kilometers. "Segway E-125 MK 2" has a 3600 watt motor and 1944 watt-hour battery and will give a range of 60 to 100 km.
