The Chinese New Energy Vehicle Company LS Auto has prepared the all-wheel drive model of its first model 'LEV-01'. The company said that the model will be sold in the Nepali market under the name 'LEV-X'.
Nexon Ventures, the official dealer of LS Auto, has informed that the LEV-X will be launched at the Nepal Mobility Expo in Naima next month. The new all-wheel drive model will come in the currently available 'LEV-01' body design. The company claims that although it looks the same from the outside, the internal features are different.
The LEV-X uses a dual motor setup of 198 kW at the front and rear. In addition, the company said that it uses a battery with a capacity of 10 kilowatt-hours. While the LEV-01 used a 67 kWh battery, the X model has a 77 kWh battery.
According to the company, some changes have been made in the interior of LEV-X. The new all-wheel drive EV is said to have updated AC vents and interior design. The company claims that with the addition of all-wheel drive feature, the LEV-X has the highest ground clearance in the segment at 210 mm and can be driven off-road with confidence.
