A majority of office bearers and representatives from Siraha are set to participate in the upcoming special general convention of the Nepali Congress. At the call of General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwaprakash Sharma, a majority of office bearers and representatives from Siraha are set to participate in the special general convention to be held on Poush 10 and 11.
There are 103 representatives in all four constituencies of Siraha. Out of which, 19 out of 25 are in constituency number 1, 12 out of 26 are in constituency number 2, 24 out of 26 are in constituency number 3, and 19 out of 25 are going to go to constituency number 4.
District Secretary Shailendra Yadav informed that 10-15 of them are leaving on Thursday, some representatives will also leave today, Friday, and the remaining representatives will leave on Saturday in vehicles from all four constituencies.
Along with this, the majority of the office bearers of the District Working Committee are also going to the special general convention. Apart from District President Ramchandra Yadav, Vice President Sunil Kumar Mahato, Secretary Shailendra Yadav, Joint Secretary Rambabu Yadav, Spokesperson Ganga Prasad Yadav and others are going to go.
Another Vice President Jageshwor Mandal has not expressed any opinion. Although most of the representatives support the special general convention, Secretary Yadav said that some people do not want to go only due to the extreme cold.
