As the flood destroyed the houses of 6 families of Bochahi village, they have been moved to a safe place. Chief District Officer Tuvraj Pokharel said that the family was kept in National Basic School Bochahi. After the village itself was flooded, a rescue team of security personnel has been deployed there under the leadership of Chief District Officer Pokharel to rescue the locals.
"Work is being done to ascertain the condition of other families affected by the flood, while those whose houses were destroyed are also being shifted to a safe place," said Prazia Pokharel. Mayor Krishna Prasad Dhakal said that more than 50 houses were flooded in Ward No. 2, 3 and 4. "We are in the process of reaching the spot to ascertain the situation in other wards," he said, "We are also rescuing and relocating the families who have become victims of the flood with the help of security personnel."
