An 'Orange Alert' has been issued in Supaul district of Bihar, India, saying that there is a possibility of floods in the Koshi river. On Saturday, Supaul District Administration issued a statement asking the general public to be cautious.
"Orange alert has been issued as heavy rain, lightning and winds with a speed of 30 to 50 km are expected until Tuesday," the statement said.
For the safety of people's wealth, the district administration has asked people to stay away from reservoirs such as rivers and streams, and to keep themselves and livestock in a safe place.
