Chief Minister Singh announced his resignation on Facebook on the second day of the Gen-G movement. But he is adamant that he will not leave the post after the state assembly is not dissolved. He is in the position of taking the vote of confidence in the state assembly sitting in the position of chief minister. The Chief Minister has not agreed to resign now as Janmaat Party is on the verge of a split.
The Janmat Party sent a letter to the provincial chief on Saturday and recalled the minister along with the chief minister to the provincial assembly on Tuesday. According to the letter, Sanjay Yadav, who is the Minister of Forest and Environment, and Vasant Kushwaha, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, have resigned from Janmaat Party.
