A 3-member delegation of technical experts from India's Ministry of Water Power met with Madhesh Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh on Thursday morning.

During the meeting, the delegation has presented a plan to make a detailed assessment of the underground water situation and to give suggestions and solutions to water shortage. The

team will visit various districts of Madhesh province in the coming days and conduct necessary research on the condition of underground water. Technical experts from the Ministry of Water Power Ashish Pandey, Jagdamba Prasad and Prasanth Rai participated in the Indian delegation. 

Chief Minister Singh said that the delegation's research and suggestions will contribute significantly to sustainable water management and groundwater conservation in the province.
