Voting for three ward presidents has started in Rautahat as part of local by-elections. Voting for the post of ward president in Gadhimai municipality-8, Rajpur municipality-6 and Ishanath municipality-7 started from 7 am on Sunday. 45 candidates are in the election field for three ward president positions.
Voting has started from 7 am in all the three wards. Voters are lining up to vote. In Ishanath, there are 15 candidates including Congress, CPN-UML, CPN-Maobadi, RAPPRA, Madheshwadi Party, and Independent.
