Forty-three candidates have filed their candidacies for the two House of Representatives seats in Gulmi. 21 candidates have filed their candidacies in Gulmi-1 and 22 candidates have filed their candidacies in Gulmi-2.
In Constituency No. 1, Dr. Chandra Bhandari of Nepali Congress, Pradeep Gyawali of CPN-UML, Sudarshan Baral of Nepali Communist Party, Sagar Dhakal of Rastriya Swatantra Party have filed their candidacies. Election Officer Krishna Prasad Paudel informed that a total of 21 people have filed their candidacies, including party members and independents. Candidates have filed their candidacies from parties including the Rastriya Janamorcha and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party in this constituency.
Gokarna Bista of CPN-UML, Bhuwan Prasad Shrestha of Nepali Congress, Shriram Mahat of Nepali Communist Party, and Govinda Panthi of Rastriya Swatantra Party have filed their candidacies in Constituency No. 2. Election Officer Harihar Paudel informed that a total of 22 people have filed their candidacies, including party members and independents. Candidates have filed their candidacies from parties including the Rastriya Janamorcha and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party in this constituency.
There are 122,186 voters in Gulmi Constituency No. 1 and 17,363 voters in Constituency No. 2. 145 polling stations and 284 polling stations have been designated across the district.
