Ganesh Karki, known as a leader who openly questions within the party, has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Morang-3. He defeated Sunil Sharma of the Nepali Congress to enter the parliament. He got 26,924 votes. His rival Sharma got 24,354 votes. Amir Magar of the Shram Sanskriti Party came in third with 16,509 votes, while Iran Kumar Rai of the CPN-UML came in fourth with 7,752 votes.

Karki, 40, who is also a founding central member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP), is known as a leader who engages in ideological debate within the party. He has repeatedly questioned the leadership level, including party president Ravi Lamichhane. He has created an image of a leader who holds different views within the party, believing that the leadership should be held accountable. For this reason, he is also known as a leader with a 'rebellious' nature within the RSWP.

Karki, a resident of Patharishnishare in Morang, has been living in Kathmandu for the last time. He is also a film writer and has made his own identity through political debates and ideological writing. He is the writer of the movie 'Jharipchiko Indreni', which was released before the election.

When Balendra (Balen) Shah was a candidate for mayor in Kathmandu Metropolitan City in the last local level election, Karki was seen active in the campaign. It is said that he played a leading role in the strategy and management of the election campaign. However, after Shah was elected, he did not hold any position of profit.

When Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader Sumana Shrestha was the Education Minister, Karki played a supporting role in the policy-making process. Even when Sumana was leaving the party, Karki had raised questions with the leadership and made his views public within the party.
