Voting continues for the election of the chairman of Gramthan Rural Municipality of Morang. The election officer's office said that more than 10,000 votes were cast till 1 pm.

The election office is preparing to start the counting of votes from tonight after the voting ends at 5 pm.

Gramthan has 26 thousand 44 voters. 16 candidates from Nepali Congress, UML, Maoist Center and others are in the fray for the post of President.
