Under the Khandbari-Num road section, the 4-kilometer Arunthan road has been damaged by the rain on Tuesday morning.
Savin Koirala, Head of North-Dakshin Koshi Road Plan, said that the subbase, Gavin Wall and drains for black paper were constructed in this section. According to him, 4 km of the road that was fixed for blackening has been damaged. 
It is located under the Koshi Highway in the Khandbari Kimathanka road section. Tank Prasad Rai, a local resident and former parliamentarian, said that the water caused the most damage in Arun Than with large rocks and stones. Similarly, the road was blocked after the water caused a landslide in Noom of Makalu rural municipality.
There is an attempt to feed the blocked road there, he said. He said that the water has caused damage of about 1 crore on the road. Details of the damage are being collected.
