Voting for Independent Students Union (SWAVIU) has started in Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara. Elections, which were postponed twice on March 5 and March 6, resumed on Sunday at 8 am.

Voting has started through 6 centers within the campus, Election Officer Prof. Dr. Ramchandra Pokharel informed. 'Voting started from 8 am . Voting time is till 4 pm. But those who enter the gate till 4 o'clock can still vote, ' He said .

Prithvi Narayan campus has 9 thousand 270 voters. After 065, SWIU elections could not be held in this campus .

Prithvi Narayan campus has 8 direct and 9 proportional associations/organizations/panels in the election field. On the direct side, Akhil (revolutionary), Aneraswaviyu (sixth), Pragyan Vidyarthi Parishad Nepal, Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh, Joint Panel, Aneraswaviyu are candidates. Naveen Adhikari from Akhil (revolutionary), Milan Sunar from Aneraswaviyu (6th), Dipsan Gurung from Pragya Vidyarthi Parishad Nepal, Sushil Neupane from Nepal Student Association, Santosh Paudel from Joint Panel, Vishnu Pokharel from Aneraswaviyu are candidates for the president of Swaviyu. Kamal Subedi and Biplavi Neupane are independent candidates.
