The government has estimated that the economic growth rate will reach 7 percent in the coming fiscal year. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle expressed this confidence while presenting the budget for the coming fiscal year on Friday.
Finance Minister Wagle also said that monetary policy will be issued to support budget implementation. Finance Minister Wagle said, “I am confident that 7 percent economic growth will be achieved in the coming fiscal year and the inflation rate will be limited to 6 percent. Nepal Rastra Bank will issue monetary policy to support the implementation of the policy reforms and programs announced in the budget.”
