The Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising, has asked the Ministry of Energy why they are trying to remove him. Ghising submitted a clarification to the ministry on Sunday and asked on the contrary that according to which provisions of the Nepal Electricity Authority Act, 2041, which work was not done.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday authorized Energy Minister Deepak Khadka to ask for an explanation, giving him a chance to submit the justification within three days. In the letter sent to Ghisingh to submit an apology on 4 points, it is questioned why the contract should not be canceled and why he should not be removed from the post of executive director.
