Nepal Rastra Bank has said that it will provide unsecured loans based on the assurance of sending remittances. Rastra Bank has made such an arrangement while announcing the monetary policy for the current financial year on Friday.
The National Bank has said that it will provide loans without collateral based on the assurance of sending remittances to the bank account of people who have obtained work permit to go for foreign employment.
"As stated in the government's budget statement of 2081/82, arrangements will be made to provide unsecured loans based on the assurance of sending remittances to the bank account of those who have obtained work permits for foreign employment," the statement said.
