Finance Minister Barshman Pun has said that taxes and other policies will be made to encourage the private sector. In the pre-budget statement of the second session under 'Kantipur Economic Summit-2024' organized by Kantipur Media Group, Finance Minister Pun said that the tax policy will not change depending on Hachuwa.

'Who should be protected, who should not? We will also see how many years our industry becomes competitive,'  He said, 'Some family friends, some acquaintances, some close to the party, some close to the government, but not looking at the country, we will decide the tax policy only by looking at how entrepreneurship is done.'

Finance Minister Pun has previously stated in many forums that he will not change the rate of voluntary tax  He has made it clear. "We are preparing for this, we are also preparing a book for three months," he said, "what was in the book now, what is to be done and why it was done can be seen, this is not a matter of hiding."

Finance Minister is irresponsible and does not run the ministry. "It is related to your property, it is related to enterprise business," he said. If that is done, it will be a kind of crime .'

Stating that they are inviting big investors through an investment conference, Finance Minister Pun asserted that the government will not fail to put the private sector forward. "From the perspective of the government, we are not doing it responsibly when allocating the budget," he said.

Finance Minister Pun says that although many announcements have been made in the budget statements after the promulgation of the constitution in 2072, they have not been completed. I have been looking at all the budget statements since the promulgation of the new constitution in '072. "We have spoken as much as we speak, but we have not completed half of what we have to do," Finance Minister Pun said. He said that the size of the new budget will be lower than the previous one, but only plans that can be completed will be brought.
