I am working in agriculture sector. I started a business from a chicken farm. I think that if you work without giving up faith and determination, you will get success.

My husband has full support in the business. My son came to Nepal after studying in Boston, USA. I was very afraid that my son would return to Nepal or not. Now the son's journey is 'Boston to Butwal'. It is thought that I will advance the agricultural business .

Srinagar Agritech Industry has established itself as an integrated agri business company, starting its business journey from a laying hen farm. We have established four vertical farms in Lumbini province as feed, food and facilitation wings. We have expanded the company's ability to go with the public . 

Now we want to make a profit sharing dividend sharing company . For such a company there is a limit of 11 bighas. Our demand is that it should be increased. There is not enough space to work. Demarcated land for poultry farming, parent farm, feed mill, processing unit had to be cleared . There is a lot of space to run for that . We have not received approval even after three-four months. 

From the Ministry of Agriculture to the state level, the process became more and more complicated even though everyone supported it. That's why there is a lot of running. Our policy rules are inspired by the 'Prospective' of 'Sustainable Agriculture'. "Sustainable agriculture" should be seen as a form of growth in the future. Commercialization should be done. We want the entire process to be easy. Now there is a situation where one has to visit many places and go door to door for the same job . It does not encourage doing business . For that, it is necessary to change the policy . 

The private sector tries to work with long-term thinking . A business plan is made. But I see some gaps in this matter . That's why we have set up Shri Kisan Innovation Hub as our own 'facilitation wing' and have made the JTA, Doctor passed out from there as Techno Commercial Technician .  When it comes to

value chain, we have done exemplary work in Lumbini area. We have linked the farmer's farm, production to market . No matter how much we produce, no matter how much we increase productivity, stability will not come unless the market is assured. The market fluctuates . 

Maize is a key essential for the feed industry. There are many imports. We depend on 80 percent of dimensions. We have encouraged domestic production. We have declared Dang as a corn zone. The government has also announced. We are trying to meet the domestic demand by increasing the productivity . We have also established a 'wire housing company' to benefit the farmers. We have set up in Kapilvastu and Biratnagar. Kapilvastu is under construction. After the construction, we can work closely with the farmers . Produced grain can be kept in the "wire house" and can be sold when the price comes.

We had a big problem during covid . Production is over. But all the hotel restaurants were closed. Farmers' produce could not reach the market. Most of the chicken traders went bankrupt. Many farmers fled. Farmers have migrated after the end of covid. We are in a race to bring back the poultry business in the village.
